YOUR COLOURS
Acrylic Paintings on Canvas
We all have a different perspective when looking at colour. To one person when they see red they think of anger, to another they see passion. My project explores this idea through the colours people identify with. I painted a series of portraits asking each person “what colours represent you?” and then painted them with their colours. Each painting is unique to the subject and reveals how they see themselves through colour. The viewer sees colours through their own lens and could have a totally different impression of the subject.
